Mr. Kawer is a Registered Architect and an executive level leader with excellent interpersonal skills, who knows how to manage and motivate staff while communicating effectively with clients, consultants and vendors. He has been practicing corporate design and architecture for the past forty years and has been the Principal in Charge of major design and programming projects for clients in the corporate and financial services sectors. Mr. Kawer has worked on projects for clients such as General Motors, Marubeni America Corporation, Ramius LLC, Shenkman Capital and Showtime Networks among others. He has extensive experience managing complex technology-intensive projects, many of which involve the design and construction of large trading floors and data centers with mission critical infrastructure, redundant systems and sophisticated security control and audio-visual systems.
Prior to Mr. Kawer’s association with The Switzer Group, he was a Principal at another prestigious Interior Design firm for over twenty years. Mr. Kawer played a significant role in developing and overseeing the policies and procedures of the firm and managed one of the firm’s largest professional studios, with annual revenue approaching $8 million and over 2.5 million square feet of projects.
In addition to working with many clients in the last few years, he has worked for Not-for-Profit clients such as Council of School Administrators, NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
